Topic: Bryan Lee Tourdates Germany

Bryan Lee is playing three concerts in Germany in March:
23.3. Kandern
24.3. Ulm
27.3. Wendelstein near Nürnberg
As he is playing in Wendelstein in Jegelscheune, a very small club with only 100 seats, it is recommended to buy tickets soon.

Re: Bryan Lee Tourdates Germany

Whenever I visited New Orleans, I never missed going to The Old Absinthe to see Bryan and his band.  A class guy and great musician.  It's been awhile since I've been to the Big Easy - I need to look up his stuff on iTunes and get some recent music.  Thanks Gunter for reminding me about him.

I saw him last year when he played in spite of severe health problems a great concert. Must be good to see him at his place in New Orleans. I think his latest album (Katrina) is great.

Re: Bryan Lee Tourdates Germany

Meanwhile he was playing a wonderful concert near Nürnberg. He seems to be in relatively good health now. As he was saying: "still too young to die....".
Bryan was playing with his drummer, bass man and an Italian keyboarder. His own keyboard man was getting sick, so he had to find another one. And he found one in Genua who sounded like he didn´t do something else in his live than playing with Bryan Lee. As Bryan said:" he was going to the same church and drinking from the same river".
People were enthousiastic - it was a small venue with only 100 seats- and celebrated him with long standing ovations. Good man!!!

Bryan Lee again: it was the third show I saw in two years. I am glad to say that healthwise he is in good shape again. His singing is powerful, his economic guitar playing very soulful. And he did a three hours show!!!
Dominating in his band is now Enrico/Brother Henry

indeed a very gifted blues and boogie player.
You have to see these guys live. I also recommend their new CD "My Lady don´t Love My Lady" (the second lady being his guitar), featuring Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepperd.
