Amazing live pictures on CNN....a fully loaded plane crashes into water on takeoff and everybody survives!!!!

Give that pilot a medal!!

My husband was there, he's with the FDNY, and said it was an unbelievable sight...freezing on the fire boats but it was worth it knowing everyone was ok.

Capt. Sully and his family live in Danville, Ca. here in the East Bay. He's already been declared a "hero" by the mayor and a party in his honor is being planned for next weekend. President elect Obama extended an invitation to the inaguration to him and his family today. The people on board that flight couldn't have been in better hands since he has been instructing pilots on how to handle catastrophic flight situations for a number of years, I still think it was a miracle that it turned out the way it did.
