Topic: Rodrigo y Gabriela

Has anyone listened to these phenomenal guitarists?  I know this is mainly a Blues/Rock site, but great playing is what it is.  The two remind me alot of Al de Meola X2.  Their covers of Zep's "StairwayTo Heaven" and Metallica's "Orion" are pretty sweet.  The original compositions are impressive as well - really like Tamacun, Diablo Rojo and especially Ixtapa ( the toes get an aerobic workout!).

as a matter of fact i have. and was VERY impressed. i agree, they are very good.
dont worry about NON blues music, thats what the sections for!
