Topic: Greetings from Nashville!

Hello all,

I've been visiting this forum now for the past few weeks, and I finally felt compelled to join! I've been a casual fan of Joe's for about 5 or 6 years. I finally had the opportunity to see him live here in Nashville in the fall of 2007 and again in the fall of 2008, and I've definitely been converted into a more serious fan since that first performance!

As all of you know, Joe's guitar playing is second to none. I also really enjoy his take on covers, as well as his original material. I'm really looking forward to hearing the new album in February.

As for myself, I've been playing guitar off and on for the past 16 years or so. When I'm not playing guitar, I'm often writing for my guitar website, www.guitarlifestyle.com. 

I look forward to being an active member of this community. It's nice to be able to communicate with people who enjoy Joe's music as much as I do! smile

Hi Josh, welcome to the forum, glad you got to see Joe in Nashville.  You know he is playing in NC in March, that is on I-40, come on over!

Not a bad idea! He's also coming to Louisville in March, so I might have to make that trip as well, considering it's only about three hours away.

My son is an ER physician at VMC in Nashville...I'm trying to make him a Joe Bonamassa convert...He is an old PHISH follower...Perhaps we can double team him the next time Joe is in Nashville...

By the way, I scored tix to the Louisville show in March. Can't wait! Anyone else on here going to that one? 

Hopefully Joe will also be traveling back through Nashville later this year. (Hint Hint!)
