If it's allright with yall, I'd like to post a few more "tubes" of musicians I discovered on this forum....I watched everything on Roy Buchanan....I got to say that man has me mesmorized by the sound he got from that telecaster...I did a wikipeia search and it was explained how he set up....I wish I'd have seen him play...I'm going to find that Rockpalast show he did, and buy it...

Re: You guys know your musicians

Hi Shred,

Roy played at  Rockpalast but there is no official video/ DVD from it.
I remember seeing it on TV but all I can remember is that he wasn't in a good mood, shape. After the show I read he was too drunk. I'm not shure about it but I know it wasn't the Roy I knew from his LP's.

I followed him from his first LP till he died and he had THAT TONE too, like Joe, Jeff Beck.

Maybe someone has the show on video recorded from the TV. I had it but lost the tape years ago!!!

Great CD's;

Roy Buchanan    -Live in Japan (1978) released in 2003
Roy Buchanan    -You're not alone . THe only LP/CD he plays a Gibson, not his Fender Telecaster.
All his previous work!
