Re: Led Zeppelin : "Yes They Are...No Wait, They're Over"
For foreigners a lot to learn about American spelling habits. I always thought that this kind of stuff is a typical German virtue.

Queen with Paul Rodgers have released new material in September: The Cosmos Rock
Doesnt mean there wont be a band though just not Led Zep.. I dont see why they would want to start the same band again they are all obviously very talented.. I guess its a bit like Queen I dont see why they want to go over the same songs with a different singer (Paul Rodgers) its cool to do some songs but why not do new material? isnt that why you become a musician in the first place? to expand and do new things?

Maybe first, you should learn how to spell Led Zeppelin.
But if you want to learn from the best, Queen + Paul Rodgers, go ahead.
I didn't get the memo from management that you were appointed head of the spelling police.
I don't usually care about spelling except from people who are fans of groups yet don't know how to spell the groups name bil.
So I will go see Led Zeppelin and you can see Led Zepplin.

You have never seen Paul Rodgers + Queen, they do not only play Queen Material. They play Paul Rodgers material also and other music. The reason for the "+" is that Paul Rodgers is an equal entity with Queen. I've posted before how and why they got together. They play old and new material. And they were not looking for a replacement of Freddie, instead someone to honor the memory of Freddie.
Being that this is a Led Zep thread, I am all for them getting together in some kind of way.
Nor will I, I've never had the urge to see a Queen show, but I'd go see Paul if the oppurtunity presented itself as long as he was with another backing band than Queen. Maybe Paul Rodgers+Queen would be a better billing. Now before the fur flies If any of you dig Queen that's fine their just not my cup of tea.
My Spelling? Anyone?,

I love Queen, but if Led Zeppelin is more your cup of tea, I hope you have the opportunity to see them if they get together again.
I thought the same thing JDawg until I saw the DVD. It was great. The last time I saw Paul Rogers he had ex Heart Howard Leese. Good show but Brian May and queen outclassed Rogers solo band. I'm a big Howard Leese fan at that.

Well, since you asked, "if" shouldn't be capitalized, "spelling" shouldn't be capitalized, and you spelled "opportunity" wrong. lol!
Thanks Bill, I usually proof read my posts, but I posted that on my way out the door to work this A.M. I always capitalize my closing(is there a proper name for that?) out of habit.

I saw Zep @ Winterland in SF the day Zep II came out and the show was so bad I never bothered to go to a live show again, but still bought their music.

J Dawg,
Sort of what happened when I spelled Zeppelin wrong.
I'm not sure if there's a name for the capitols in the closing...I have a hard enough time spelling.

I have to agree with you about the DVD Jim. Great one at that. However, I am a bit underwhelmed by the new material they came up with on 'The Cosmos Rocks'. Not that it's bad, and there are some good songs, but as a whole it just didn't move me. I got comp tickets to see the concert film of their recent show in the Ukraine where they played in front of 500,000 in November, where they played some of the new material, and it didn't grab me much live either, but it does have its moments, and I think Paul Rodgers comes off much better than the remaining Queen members.
