Alrighty then, it's game day for the Cal Bears @ The Emerald Bowl @ AT&T Park in SF. I've been waiting for I think 8 years since this bowl started to see the home boys play in it and as luck would have it I'm sick as a dog. I'm poppin' and swillin' every known cold remedy to drag my butt out there, ain't nothin' gonna stop me, I'll be sick tomorrow. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Oh yeah, 30% chance it'll rain too. If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

The Oregon Ducks upset OSU, PAC 10 3-0 with 2 more teams yet to play. Some day the rest of the conference might get some respect other than the University of Spoiled Children. 5 games today 12/31 and 5 more manana.

Well it's a new year, but the same results, USC hammers another Rose Bowl opponent. That makes it a clean sweep for the PAC 10 conference 5-0. The Sooners & Gators can thank Oregon State for tripping up SC so neither of them had to encounter them in the BCS Championship game. I doubt anybody out there could stop these guys at this point. Maybe someday we'll have a playoff format to settle these what if's once and for all.

Dawgy...you feeling like a slow footed DB with man to man and no safety to cover your arse ....yeah, I been watching the games when I can...I read Saban lips last night, as he was talkng into his headset...."LISTEN UP YOU S.O.B. WERE GETTING OUR BUTTS SPANKED ON NATIONAL TELEVISION, IF YOU DONT STOP THE BLEEDING, I'M GOING TO TAKE MY BALL AND GO HOME, JUST LIKE I DID IN MIAMI, ARE YOU HEARING ME NOW!!!"....I loved the panic all over that prima donnas face ....I cant wait to see them Okies knock the snot out of Urban (my poo dont stink) Meyer....I say Oklahoma vs Utah at a neutral site for the BIG TROPHY...a neutral place would be Pac Bell Park, cuz I'd pay a kings randsom for that ticket in my back yard...there Bubba, now you got an over opinionated, old bald guy with a nasty attitude...think I'll head out to the garage and hit the speed bag and get out my frustrations....NO!!!!...I almost forgot, I'd probably get hurt...AGAIN!!

Well it didn't turn out the way us Buckeye fans hoped, but that was the most exciting game of the bowl season. I'm sure the Longhorns will cry we're #1, but I still give Utah more credit for man handling 'Bama. Sorry Texas, maybe ya'll agree we need a playoff format, ya think? I gotta go get my blood pressure under control, WHEW!!!!

Not to pile on Dawg but I had to root for those whiners down south, after all they represent the Big 12. If this year doesn't bring an uproar from all of college football for a playoff then I'm guessing it will never happen. I agree Utah made a statement. I thought last nights game was pretty unempressive except for the Buck's running back. We'll see come Thursday whether the Sooners can impress the country. A win by a couple of points won't.
