Re: New Years resolutions

I've been back to working out since November, so I can hardly count that going into the New Year. I have a ways to go to get back to where I was before the shoulder surgery, but I'm getting closer.

I'm resolving to drink less coffee this year. I'm currently drinking 5 or 6 cups a day at work. Way too much caffeine. I'm shooting for one small cup a day (not the 20 ouncer), and possibly switching to decaf).

Hey Bill,

Ever tried just switching to tea for the week? I did that a number of years ago as I was like you, drinking four to five cups of coffee by 11:00 AM. Tea, even Lipton's regular, doesn't have the same effect on me as coffee does, although they are about the same in caffeine. On the weekend then, I make one pot each day of really good coffee and then stop drinking it in the morning. This seems to have all helped me....no more coffee jitters.

Roy,
Tea is a good alternative and I do that at home on occasion, but never have drank tea at work.
I'm hoping to start substituting water for coffee...I'll keep the tea in mind though.
