Must be Gremlins again. I have a post missing too. It wasn't that bad either I promise. It was in reply to Dino in the other artist section. Dino's post I replied to is gone too. Thats it it must be Dino who is the Gremlin.
Jim, last night I typed 4 posts and I can't find them anymore. Is it my computer, no connection or something or somebody deleted them?
Normal posts, nothing political or so.
maybe I made a mistake by sending but as i remember well they were one just after I sent them.

I noticed that too yesterday. Just figured a mod didn't like my post or something.

I suspect that what happened is this - from time to time the database needs to be backed up. Let's say the back-up starts at 10 am and takes till 10:30 - all posts (and other data) gets backed up till 10 am, but you can't also 'save' those posts made during the back-up, at the end of which the forum reverts to its state at 10 am and everything posted between 10-10:30 is lost.
I reckon.
Ironically this occurred just as I was asked to clean up a post, very cool that I was asked to handle it myself BTW, however I was ready to cop an attitude when my post vanished.............NEVER MIND!!!!!!

I had read all the new posts sometime yesterday and logged off. I logged back on and the posts were still marked like I hadn't read them. That was Odd. Went to see if Dino had replied to my post and it wasn't there. I guess there is a glitch somewhere. I remember when it happend to you in the past George and could not explain. I'll ask Nicki tomorrow it I get a chance.

I had this same problem....odd indeed. Thought it might have to do with the fact that I'm tricking my computer into thinking it's Septemer so my Nero "free" trial doesn't run out, but I changed the date to the correct one and it was still showing as new.....
