Topic: New to the forum

Hi folks,

just want to say hello. I am a professional musician since 30 years. The last years I had to do a lot of stupid jobs just to make money. But finally I am through with it. Now I'm back to what I really love. Blues Rock and all related music!!

Joes style is exactly the mixture I like. Blues, Rock, a little Jazz, a bit country. He is also great singer and songwriter. One thing I allready learned of him is using multiple amps. Like he says: One amp can't do it all. How right he is.

I am a real tone hunter and I will have many questions about gear and stuff. Here is my current line up:

Guitars:
Warmoth Strat Rosewood neck / Kloppmann PU
Warmoth Strat with Fender Eric Johnson maple neck / Kloppmann PU
Squier Japan Strat '83
Tokai LS 50 Les Paul '82
Greco Les Paul '75
Vester ES 335
(no big money for big names like you can see :-)

Marshall JVM 410 H
Petersburg P-100
Fender Super Reverb '72 non MV
2 x Hughes & Kettner 1x12 (V30/G12H)
1 x Hughes & Kettner 2x12 (V30)
Power Factor Pro
RSP Noise Reduction
Rocktron Intellifex
Pedal Board:
Cry Baby
Keeley TS-9
Baldringer Dual Drive
Lehle Dual SgoS
Lehle D.Loop
Voodoo Lab power suply
Korg Tuner

Re: New to the forum

Hi. I have NO idea what half of that stuff is but I can tell you many here will. You are going to have a great time in the gear section.....Are you related to Santa Klaus??? Even if you're not, thanks for joining and a big welcome.    Cathy

Re: New to the forum

Welcome to the forum LesKlaus,

You will have plenty of company in the 'Joes Amps and Gear' String where you can find all the other 'Kit Monsters' !

You have some impressive stuff. I'm not aware of any other fully pro guitarists on the forum but there are lots of musicians.

Hi und Wilkommen,

I only just joined the forum myself but it's a lot of fun in here finding people with similar tastes and interests all over.

Enjoy

Welcome to the forum LesKlaus!

Hope you have a long and happy stay. Like some of the others, I'm not to aware on gear, but seems an impressive list. Feel free to post a link to some of your music if you wish to.

Regards

Duncan

Wilkommen Klaus!

Nice to have another German Joefan on board!

If you have any questions just ask Eva. She's our Germanrock in Joe's world and very nice too!

Welcome to Joe's forum LesKlaus. What is the name of your band? It would be interesting to hear some of your stuff.
Have fun here.

Hi Klaus,

Schön, dass du den Weg hergefunden hast - wir werden langsam richtig viele Deutsche hier! smile

I´ll continue in English so there won´t be any conspirancy-theories on what kind of secret messages I´m writing to you in German ... first of all welcome to the forum! Where are you from? And did you see one of the shows during the recent Germany-tour? I posted some videos from the tour in "General topics" if you´re interested...

Nice to have you here and I too am sure that you will find a lot of Bonabuddies (that´s what we call each other... wink) here to talk about gear and stuff (did you see Joe´s new Flying V?!) ...

Eva

Re: New to the forum

Jean Shy & The Shy Guys - not really blues rock, but blues-soul-gospel-rock-pop-mixture

I'm living near Duisburg. The last tour was quite short so I missed it.

Re: New to the forum

Hi Klaus,
I was checking out your band on You Tube and I really like the stuff you play. What an excellent singer Jean is too.

All the best.....Tripsy smile
