Re: What's on your pedalboard?

My tuner is after the wah also. I dont know why other than it makes sense based on where I put the wah on the pedal board. It always goes far right. So naturally the splitter comes next which has channel A going to the tuner and B to the rest of the chain. It still silences the whole thing when you hit the tuner on. Works well for me.

Re: What's on your pedalboard?

i've had a little change round with my board and i've got the tuner as the first in line, then wah, bd-2 and dd-3

Fender 60's Strat>Fulltone OCD V4>>TC Electronics Polytune>Orange Dual Terror>Torres 2x10 Cab(with a vintage 30 and a greenback)

Re: What's on your pedalboard?

I don't know how or why you guys would want to step on all those pedals while you're playing.  Isn't it distratcing?  I'd be worried about steppin' on this one...now that one...wait...no...this one...instead of performing for the audience.

It's like typing on a keyboard.  Some people don't have to look and peck.  You just do it and someone mash the buttons.

I run a Boss GT-10 for all of my effects and preamps.  I run this into the Power amp input of my Fender HotRod Deluxe.  So I'm only using the poweramp of the HotRod.

My FX Chain is

Guitar
Boss GT-10
BBE Sonic Stomp Sonic Maximizer
Boss Mono Foot Volume
Power Amp In on HotRod Deluxe

Also in the pedalboard is
BBE Acoustimax acoustic preamp
Boss 2 button footswitch for GT-10 CTRL 3 & 4
Peterson StroboStomp 2 tuner
Sennheiser Wireless transmitter for my wireless in-ear monitors.

It's a very versatile setup allowing me to cover a lot of sonic ground.  It's not perfect but it does sound very good for digital preamps.

How do you like the BBE Sonic Maximizer as a pedal? How does it sound?
I became interested in them when they only had the rackmount. I'd like to hear your review...

All I can say is it does what its supposed to.  Everything everyone says about it is true.  It brings out the sound and really makes it sound more "brilliant"  And I mean that in both the low and high end.  I bought it without trying it actually, and its like night and day.  Might as well have a rackmount version because it is on all the time.  I liked what it did so much I bought the BBE Acoustimax acoustic preamp because it had a sonic maximizer built in.  Supposedly it re arranges the phase of the bass and maybe it does.  The effect *sounds* like something that could be done with EQ but I've never been able to recreate quite the same amount of "pop" that the maximizer gives to the sound.

Even before I started the GT-10 setup and was running straight HotRod preamp, I would stick the BBE in the FX loop

Re: What's on your pedalboard?

boss chromatic tuner, FullTone Clyde wah, FT fulldrive 2, keeley katana clean booster, S.P.F. I-5 delay, TS-808, FT deja vibe, FT choralflange.
