Pacific Road Closure Planned

The building is council owned and funded and they are planning to withdraw funding and transfer operations to a new 800 seat Theatre in New Brighton. Whilst the new theatre, with fixed seating, might be ideal for the type of shows the council have invisaged, it provides little atmosphere or facilities for the mix and types of artists that have been popular & staple fare at Pacific Road over past years.
