Topic: Happy 65th birthday Jim Morrison

Todays his big day....65 wow!....times flying by....to young to have seen The Doors but love their music, got their greatest hits on a double disc...anyone ever see these guys live, if so, give me the jive

If I were born 10 years earlier, I'd be dead like many of my friends that never reached 40....you dont need to ask me why, cuz thats how it is

That youtube video is awesome.......which reminded me immediately of Val Kilmer, I dont think his head has been right since...still in character maybe?....maybe the best movie of its kind....well then again, Jamie Foxx and Joaquin Phoenix might disagree

The Doors are one of the bands that I'd choose to see if I could go back in time...they were one of the first bands I got into.  Hard to imagine Jim would have been 65...

I'd be the richest fool alive

A time machine would be great!  You just reminded me of something...when I was a teenager, one night I was sitting on my bed, listening to one of my Doors albums (vinyl of course!) and was thinking about the controversy that was going on over Jim's death...did he stage it or what???  I thought to myself, I wonder if he's really dead or not...and then my lightbulb blew out...scared the heck outta me...a sign, perhaps? yikes  lol

I hope you went listening to "The End"....Morrison was a wacko, hell most of them in that culture were different...dang I think I ended up a little like them in some ways
