Thanks for the call Shred. Pretty awesome playing!!! It really is a pity that the turnout was so low!!! I hope Lance understands. Those same folks will kick themselves some day when he's a bigger name and they can't get close to him. It's tough out there for most musicians. I'm still hoping for an East Coast visit by him....for me and for Pitts. Jeff!!! Great job Bluesman!!!! Cathy

Sorry Bubba, that was "Stones" you were hearing...video...did you say video?...terrrrible video...I'm buying a camcorder, it was awfull....I recorded "Stones" and "El Paso Sugar", I nearly smashed my camera with a frickin hammer after listenling to it today...I'll send over some KILLER Satriani to you, the cat next to me filmed it and sent the link to me....man I wish he would have brought his video goodies to Lance 
Bummed out, and so is LL, he's never coming back here!
Too bad for everybody involved, Daryl told me I picked a good night to stay in. I had a frickin' good time Wed. night. Impromptu gig, loose atmosphere, no expectations, just Lance shreddin' my brains out. His jams with Steve were killer too, those two are cut from the same cloth. If we ever get him back he needs to play in the City at some place like The Independent with way better sound to work with. That Sweetwater Station is a hole that caters to an eclectic crowd, DUDE, it's Marin County for chrissake.

Going to Cozy's tonight! Me along with some of my friends will be there to see LL and welcome him to SoCal. There should be a good Sat night crowd

We are all hardcore Joe B/Philip Sayce and BDS fans and see those guys when they play locally so this is going to be a treat for us to finally see Lance play live!

Send my best to the band, and sincere apologies for such a poor turnout in Nor Cal....I cant put into words how embarrasing that was...... but I did my part, drove myself 5 hours round trip and nearly died driving home in some of the worst fog EVER!!....hope you and your buddies have a great time

Our drive was just slowed a little by LA freeway traffic but we got there in plenty of time. Lance went on around 9:45 and did a 4-5 song acoustic set accompanied by a harp player and his drummer came on for the last song or so. I don't know if Lance does this at each show but it was great! The full band took the stage at 10:30 and played until 1:30! What a great show.
There was a good crowd on hand and Lance seemed to be enjoying himself. My friends and I have seen some good shows this year, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Joe B, Walter Trout, Philip Sayce, Govt Mule w/BDS, Uli Jon Roth to name a few and we all agreed this was one of the best shows we have seen.
We talked to Lance a little after the show and thanked him for coming to the west coast and encouraged him to come back soon. I asked him how the Sweetwater show went down and he was polite and said no comment. He said he felt comfortable at Cozy's all in all. The sound was very good.
Glad to have finally seen him live. Hope it will not be the last.

Sorry I did not mention that date. I saw it on his MySpace but could not remember it when I posted. It is great that Lance is finding a base here in Cal. I will be letting other people know that he is coming back.

I traded emails with him yesterday, the man's real cool...he's looking forward to all the Cali shows...what ever you do, dont mention The Sweetwater gig...I leave it at that
