G-nose, just heard back, nothing in the wind as of yet re: BDS, no European dates either w/o Skynyrd. As I mentioned the focus is on the new studio CD. More shall be revealed.

If you can go on EBAY and look for a DVD that has the original Skynyrd....there are several to be had...one a show from Rockpalast with Ed King as the third guitarist and another with Skynyrd's set on Old Grey Whistletest
Skynyrd just ain't Skynyrd without Ronnie Van Zant for me.....my favorite band of all time.
I agree with you...Ronnie was Skynyrd! They were my (are) my favorite all time band. I don't mean any disrespect and more power to the members in the band but I can't go to the shows now because it seems (TO ME) like a tribute band.
C'mon Step-C, get over it, besides the music stands on its own merit and the playing and sound are superior than the old days now that everybodies playin' way more sober. Even though Hughy Thomasson wasn't an original member it did subtract a little when he returned to the Outlaws after 9 years with Skynyrd. Rickey Medlocke took over most of Hughy's parts and that ain't so bad either.

My dad just told me that we have tickets for Stuttgart in June!!! YEAH!
And I thought I´d never ever see these guys play unless I make the little trip to America .... 
SO looking forward to it - that helps me getting over the missed AC/DC tickets (besides: they´re said to play some extra concerts too, so maybe there´s another chance to see them...).

Ah yes Sttutgart, my home when I was very young...hmm, wonder how far that is from the RAH?....have a blast, nothing better than southern rock....you got yourself a real kind father Eva, lucky girl!!

It´s only a short flight away, BUT the concert is one month later. They´ll play at Killesberg which is a very small and nicely old-fashioned open air place in the middle of a park.
