That story doesn't mention the fact they were discovered in a contest to see who could hit 85 mph on a radar gun and the winner got the equivalent of a million dollars. NOBODY did it. A sub 85 mph fastball doesn't get you to the show, unless you wanna throw batting practice.

Scott Boras might be the one of the worst agents ever, unless he's representing you..."they want how much to let us park our car? " (frickin Barry "bust" Zito)...I saw the other day that Dustin Pedroia signed a ridiculously low new contract, he should have hired Boras smile...then theres my boy Tim Lincecum, his agent has gone on record saying they want to go to salary abbritration every year, that's a terrible idea, he could blow out his rotator and be history...I should have been a baseball players agent, and an owners as well...NOBODY gets over $10 million a year...NOBODY!!!!!!!!!!
