Topic: Pearl Drive Ocean EFX

So I got the Pearl drive from Corby at Ocean effects the other day.  It is a fantastic pedal.  If you like the OCD from Fulltone you will go crazy for the Pearl.  It is so much more balanced than the OCD.  The OCD is much bassier.  The Pearl is clear on the highs, and has great mid control giving you a lot of variety in sound. It is a very smooth overdrive. Be warned there is a lot of volume and a lot of drive from this beast.
It is extremely balanced.  The treble and the bass is perfect with a Les Paul or a Tele.  I dont own a strat so Sorry strat guys.  I am sure It sounds great for them too. 

I personally love the texas deuce more and will continue using it as my lead tone.  It fits my gig more.  I need a more 808 sounding lead tone.  However... the pearl is worth the cost. It is a fantastic value.  I am sure these pedals have the potential to go up in value. 

I'd get your hands on one if you have 170 bucks.  Corby is doing it right over there.
Not to mention Corby has got to be the nicest guy in the business. 

Check these out.  You will not be disappointed.

I've been looking for one. I phoned Corby a couple of times but haven't had any calls returned. My problem is that I'm home till after Christmas but right after new years I may be travelling for a bit so I don't have much of a window and I'm trying to find one before then. I'm also in Canada and haven't been able to find one anywhere here.
Anyone have one they might like to sell smile ???
