The complete list of nominees for the 2009 GRAMMY Awards were revealed Wednesday night Dec 3rd following the official broadcast and debut of "The GRAMMY Nomination Concert Live! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" on CBS. Elvin Bishop's much celebrated and talked about release "The Blues Rolls On" earned it's place amongst the final five nominees for Best Traditional Blues Album alongside esteemed recordings by B.B. King, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Jr., and Pinetop Perkins. All of us here at Delta Groove are extremely proud and happy for Elvin in receiving his nomination for the music industry's highest honor, and for all of his hard work in crafting an album that is truly a defining moment of his career. Congratulations Elvin!!! You've earned it! The 51st GRAMMY Awards will be handed out on Sunday, February 8th, 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast on CBS television.
