Topic: New Year in Amsterdam

See, there are no numbers in the title, not any. big_smile

In not much more than a month from now, Cathy will be arriving to sample the awesome spectacle that is New Year's Eve in Amsterdam. We'd hereby like to invite anyone who might be near to join us for a special evening, or for the open house we'll probably have here the following weekend.

For those who don't know, NYE in Amsterdam features absolutely stupendous amounts of fireworks and firecrackers going off for hours - it's a quite amazing spectacle if you've never experienced it.

Thanks for the invitation George but I'm on holiday with my family.

Go to the Canary Islands to the sun. We leave the 26th of December and return January the 3rd!! But  come to Amsterdam for sure to see our deerest Cathy after!

But the good thing is: we will all (including our beloved forrest witch Cathy) meet up again in May, and that´s not tooooo far away either. smile

Hope you guys have fun - and I´m pretty sure you will! Maybe we can at least have a big Bonabuddy-talk while you´re here Cathy ...

But have to work day shifts on the 31 and jani 1st.
So that means get out of bed around 6 and start at 7 in the morning sad
Really the downside of this job,working on holidays..

The female Elder has left the building - well, she's left her building anyway, and has now arrived in Joisey for Christmas with her 'babies'.

She'll be leaving from Philly on Friday evening (quick hello at the airport, Angela?) and arriving here Saturday morning, Dec. 27th.

Man, I'm shattered. Once you get seriously into this cleaning, tidying up and shifting things around business you discover that there's no end to it. You just keep finding more stuff that needs doing along the way.

So, my Boxing Day has consisted of watching the Hammers finally get a bit of luck and score four goals, preceded and followed by the above mentioned. The way I see it, my Christmas starts tomorrow morning with Cathy's arrival, and you can be sure that the Elders are gonna have themselves a heap of fun! cool

Last Call!!! It's already New Year's Eve here!! I wish you all could come and play.  We bought some fireworks today and I've got many layers of clothing in prep. for the c-o-l-d!!
