Topic: Oh no - it's eldo56.....

Ladies & Gentlemen

There is no doubt that Joe is the "Main Man" on the block at this present time. I first saw Joe playing at the Boom Boom Club in Sutton, South London, a couple of years ago and the rest is history. The complete back catalogue had to be purchased and like most of you, the challenge to find  a great new rock/blues guitarist had been truly met. Let's hope that Joe continues to exceed our expectations in both the studio and on stage for many years to come.

Some of you may recognise me from the Aynsley Lister forum, where today, the big news is that Spoons, the drummer, is leaving the band to meet new challenges abroad. A sad day, but I guess these things happen.

Another important matter for us all is "keeping music live" and through these credit crunch times, we must continue to support local up and coming bands and guitarists like Aynsley Lister, Ian Parker, Billy Walton, Simon McBride, Jay Tamkin, Oli Brown, Ryan McGarvey etc etc and help them develop to be the next JB!! If by chance you live in South London, please visit the Pete Feenstra website and come along to some of the gigs. Thats what I did and where I first saw JB playing in Sutton. Thanks and goodnight................

Welcome eldo. Glad to see a fellow Aynsley fan over here. Are you going to try to get tickets for the RAH?

Yeah - just had a look on RAH website and couldn't see the tickets available yet - what about the Spoons news???

Re: Oh no - it's eldo56.....

Hi Eldo..Witchazel here. I am glad to hear you stress the importance of supporting live, local music. It really is vital to keep Blues/Rock viable. Welcome to Joe World. See you at the RAH!!!!   Cathy

Re: Oh no - it's eldo56.....

Hi Eldo and a very warm welcome to Joe's forum. I know you've been lurking around these parts for a while, so glad you've decided to jump on in.
Keeping the music live is a sentiment we all share and enjoy. Pete Feenstra is definitely a champion of live music down in the south of England and has helped to promote Joe which makes him a star in my book.
I'm sad to hear that Spoons is leaving these shores, he's a great drummer and a nice guy. I wish him all the best for the future.

Enjoy the forum Eldo

ps We'll pretend we didn't read your comment about Joe's barnet!!

Re: Oh no - it's eldo56.....

Yeah - just booked my RAH tickets for next May - was booking the Arena then a few seconds later they had gone!!! - doh!!! - still got the Stalls tickets, Block G, so should be ok - isn't it amazing that 2 years ago JB was playing a small blues club in Sutton for a tenner - now £40 at the RAH - thats a 300% increase in 2 years!!!!lol - that is some return on investment - just need my Barclays shares to do the same!!!lol

Re: Oh no - it's eldo56.....

A very warm welcome from me too!

Hope to meet you at the RAH! I have tickets too!

Hi Eldo

Nice to see ya.
I had similar problems with the RAHbish web booking as well. Lost my first attempt tickets in a box :-( Now way back in L2.

Seems we're not the only ones as well.
If the RAH are going to book world class acts like Joe, they could at least have a system that can cope.

Re: Oh no - it's eldo56.....

Eldo - Thanks for steering me here!  You're back at work and now really bored so get to postin'!
