Topic: New Guitar Player Mag.

There is an add in the back of the new guitar payer mag. under the classfied instruments.  Erlewine guitars is selling Chiquita's.  I never new what it was until now.  Its the guitar Marty McFly used when he blew up that monster amp lol.  I'm not sure if its a re-issue or what.  Anyway check it out.

Also in the issue they had the top 15 awesome guitar rigs.  WTF no Joe.  The one with the most genious rig and they would rather put some lame rigs in there.  I could have found a better group of guys then some of the ones they picked.

Yea thats why I posted it.  I thought they were just made back in the day.  I also didn't know what it looked like, but after seeing it I knew them from Back to the Future in the awesome amp blow up scene.

That was the scene that inspired me, like many others, including John Mayer I believe, to try to get hold of a guitar and play. Unfortunately for me my mum said that it'd hurt my fingers and I wasn't allowed one.  sad  I did however get a clarinet, which I pretty much hated. I didn't get a guitar until half way through university in the end and now, 4 years on, I can't help but think that I would have been so much better by now with all the practicing I could have done rather than playing Doom 2 on the computer.  lol

The moral of that story is get whichever instruments your kids want to play, not what you think they should play (unless they're drums, obviously  wink ).

I agree about being shocked to see no Joe in that 15 awesome rigs feature! In fact, no bluesmen at all! Besides the rig of the Edge, and Maroon 5, all of them were quite bland and stereotypical, and designed for showmanship (i hate to say that about Jeff Beck's, but Marshall DSL??)
