Topic: Susan Tedeschi ROCKED Pittsburgh.......

UNBELIEVABLE show last night in downtown Pittsburgh at the Byham Theater.  Susan Tedeschi jammed, rocked and totally captivated her sold out audience with her masterful guitar playing and her deep soulful voice. For two awesome hours she took the audience from deep hard rocking blues to soul filled tunes and then onto a few jazzy numbers. She started off the show performing a few songs off her new album, Back To The River and then followed up with many favorites from her other albums.  I have only seen her play and perform once before which was this past summer when she was with The Derek Trucks Band in their Soul Stew Revival show.  That show alone was a mind blowing rockin' jamming fun filled experience.  So, if you ever get a chance to see her solo show don't hesitate......just go!!  You won't be disappointed.  James Hunter and his band are opening up for her.  She is the real deal.  She is so extremely talented and she completely ROCKS out.....  Next Saturday night The Derek Trucks Band is finally back in Pittsburgh!  Oh YEAH can't wait.

I´d love to see Susan live - I hope she comes over to Europe some time soon ... she´s kind of the "next Bonnie Raitt" for me, even though you can´t really compare these two.. I only saw Susan on DVD so far (Eric Clapton´s Crossroads for example), but I really hope to see her live in concert soon ....

I love Susan, and had a chance to see her at Crossroads II. Obviously, it was a fairly brief appearance.
I'd love to see a full set someday.

I have NO IDEA how such a sweet, soft spoken woman can open her mouth and have such an INCREDIBLE, deep voice!!!  And a wicked good guitar player too; I keep going back for more of that killer combo in a musician!  Just a fabulous show!  And what a nice surprise for the encore, Derek Trucks came out and played.

I thoroughly enjoyed the warm-up band, James Hunter, a very entertaining guy with a great band.
