I was watching the Antique Road show tonight with my wife....they show a lady with this guitar she brought...I perked up, "thats an early 50's esquire"...I was right, blond with a black pickguard and single pickup...the expert removed the "ash tray" to show the serial number stamped inside 0349...he explained everything about the Fender, it looked like it hadnt been payed much EVER!...seems her uncle bought it new in 52 for $300....the expert got done and told her to insure it for $35,000...she was in shock!...hell, you probably could have given her a $100 bucks, she knew nothing about guitars...the show was from Wisconsin, some of you may have seen it...got to keep them eyes open for garage sales

Wow, thats a real rare jewel. But I always missed the neck pickup
that makes this particular Tele sound I really like.

Yes the prices for that vintage stuff are going to insane nowadays.
Good for the owners...;)
