Topic: first tme post

Hi everyone, this may be my first post on the forum, but I've been an avid reader for a long time. I've been following Joe for about 18 years now, first seeing him live in Syracuse,Ny when he was just 13. Been hooked since that day.Since then I've seen Joe with Bloodline in Rome NY back in 1994 I think it was. Soon after that I moved from Bridgeport NY( about 25 mi. down the road from Utica and Joe's home) to Homosassa Florida. Homosassa/Bonamassa- coincidence? I've seen Joe 3 times in Florida in '06 and '07. Looking forward to seeing him again this winter hopefully.I play guitar, black 1985 Les Paul, though not in a band in long time Just want to say that this forum is just the greatest place and thanks for having me, .....Uncle Raven

You're very very welcome overhere. It's true ,it's a great site, with great people and the greatest band!
I'm jealous that you saw Bloodline! I saw al lot but that one I'll never make.

Hello from England Uncle Raven. I can't believe the name of the place you live in, I bet there aren't many place names that rhyme with Bonamassa! Nice to have you here, you are now officially an ex lurker....great!

Welcome Uncle Raven from Raven Country. I too envy your history with Joe. Sure do wish I would have known about him earlier! This is a wonderful place. Lots of great info for players and for listen-only folks like me. There are no coincidences....only co-inky-dinks. I hope you get to meet some of the other fans in Florida at a show. It makes it even better. Thanks for jumping in and I hope you share some stories.              Cathy
