Topic: It's a boy!!!

My daughter-in-law, Jill, was in labor in Indy while I was watching Joe last night - anything could have happened...but didn't.

I got the call this afternoon (my time) to announce the safe arrival of baby Ben, all 8lbs. 8 oz. and 22 inches of him!!! big_smile

Anyone who fancies an excuse is welcome to raise one (or several) glasses with me tonight to celebrate the arrival of a new human!

Poor Jill! That's a big boy. I suggest they start saving now, or move to a farm, in preperation for future food needs. His big sister will provide the "girl" training. Congrats Granddad!  Cathy

George!!!!  Ben looks like he's a month old already!!!  YOUCH!!!!  Poor Jill !!!!  A prize well worth the pain though, I'm sure.  He is beautiful indeed!!!  Congrats to you and yours.

Some day ask me about the size of my chirruns when they was borned.  The smallest one of all was a pound bigger than Ben, came out smoking a cigar and flirting with the nurses.

Wonder where he got that from?  Anyway I toast you and the kids.
