Children in Need

Here in the U.K. on one day a year the BBC (British Broadcasting Corportation) televise a show to raise funds for children around the world.  Funds are raised in various ways both leading up to the show and during and after the show also.  There are performances this year from Girls Aloud; Stereophonics; Take That; Razorlite; Sugar Babes and McFly have recorded the Children in Need Record.  Also the actors and cast from various U.K. television shows perform. Right now we are watching the cast from The Bill a show about the Metropolitan Police in London who are singing a medley of Blues Brothers songs.  The amount raised up to now is over 5 million pounds.  Anybody wishing to make a donation can call 03457 33 22 33
