Topic: Unbroken

At work this morning before I on the radio..well dmx satellite radio...I heard Unbroken...only Joe wasnt singin...I think it was Tim McGraw... I just thought that it was neat that he was singin it

just a bit of useless info I guess heh

Re: Unbroken

I second Jane's comment. I feel the same way about Jethro Tull's "A New Day Yesterday." Their version is nothing special, but Joe makes it powerful, especially live. The only cover that Joe does that I really enjoy the original just as much is Rory Gallgher's "Cradle Rock." Both versions are great.

Re: Unbroken

Are You Experienced? Is one I'd have to say I tie the original with Joe's...

Re: Unbroken

I never said "it" was Joe's song as far as writing it...I just simply said I'd heard it....I stated that I'd heard it because it was a country version and I'd never heard a country version (I'd only had heard Joe's version).   I know Joe makes every song he sings special..weather he wrote them or not...most artists put their own twist into their singing because of their passion...if I we singing I wouldnt want to sing it just like every one else does smile

and Tim McGrasw's version isnt that bad...but yeah he's no Joe...but he is talanted

Re: Unbroken

Naw I didnt think that you sounded like you were implying anything I just like to explain myself LOL

Re: Unbroken

"Unbroken" is indeed a great song Jane.  Definately has a lot of meaning.  BTW, I snagged an "Unbroken" sampler dated 2002.  Has 2 versions of "Unbroken".  A rock mix and an AAA mix.

Music is good for the Soul...
