Shephards Bush on 17th was the last UK gig. Not to worry though, he's most likely be back next year! smile

Saw him yesterday in Roth (near Nürnberg) and he was great. He´s far away from "too many notes too loud" now - even though you can still read this on the T-Shirts they´re selling! wink The new album is very differentiated (if you can use that term) and has a lot of "ear catcher" songs on it - I really like the "new" sound of Walter!

Tripsy, I think his man at the keyboard had a nice hairstyle.
It was the first time that I saw them live - it was a great concert, there were very intense moments, and the whole thing ended up very joyful when Eva got his pick.

yes a pretty nice concert yesterday moreover in nice people company. i have met eva and günter for the first time, but it will surly not be our last meeting.
walter trout has its own style, its bluesrock but sometimes very heavy one, full of power and energy and long lasting solos were he really gets notes out of his fender which are spectacular.
he has a great band with and everybody in there got the right to show how good he is, so its not only a one man show but a good working together.
cool evening, cool people, very cool music...................what more can i ask?

Walter's hair does look shorter. Shortest I've seen it since the moustached photo I have on Life In The Jungle CD. Its almost a Joe style.
