Topic: Hello from Marco / BluesMagazine.nl

Hello everyone,

Via this way I'd like to introduce myself shortly.
My name is Marco and just as all of you I love great (blues) guitar songs and surely artists like Joe, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, J.J. Cale, Freddie King, and Robert Johnson to name a few.

Here in The Netherlands I started in april 2008 an online bluesmagazine called BluesMagazine.nl
My goal with this site is to let people know about the blues music, news, releases, reviews, photo reports, concerts, and so on ... I just want to keep the blues alive in the world!!!
BluesMagazine.nl is a non-profit website and the reactions so far are very positive and many visitors find their way to BluesMagazine.nl each day.

Besides this blues magazine I am also the web co-ordinator for the worldwide Eric Clapton Fan Club Magazine Where's Eric! and so handling also the news part for ericclapton.com (... yes all in my spare free time).

Last month Andre Wittebroek contacted me about Joe's great work for the Blues in the Schools project and so I learned about this forum and how nice you all are! Thanks Andre!!
I look forward to have you as my friends as well and of course to promote Joe's great music and other projects such as the fantastic Blues in the Schools project.

Thursday 13 November I will be at Joe's concert here in The Netherlands (Utrecht).

Will this 11/13 be the first you have seen Joe Live??  You are in for an incredible experience. 
I look forward to the review of the concert.

No I have seen Joe before. My last one was here in The Netherlands in the Effenaar, Eindhoven in March 2008.
Indeed always an incredible experience. Look forward to it.

Hi Marco!! Holland certainly is BluesRock friendly!! I'm happy to hear about your e-mag. When I was in Amsterdam I was looking for a resource for live music. I'll know where to look next time. You are going to meet some womderful fans at the show. We're very proud of Andre for the work he did to bring about the first European BITS program. Thanks for your kind words Marco. We'll see  eachother tomorrow night at the Tony Joe White show in Hellendoorn.  I'll wear my Joe Bonamassa Always on the Road T shirt.

In Utrecht Rudi, Johan and I are at row 4 seats 28,29 and 27 or 30. It's in the middle, in front of the stage.
We will meet  the others too, venue opens at 19.30. Try to be there and will wait in the hall for all Bonabuddies!
