Anyone else going to see Joe in Oakville?

Re: Oakville Show Wednesday Oct 29 2008

You shall enjoy, Brampton was great and do NOT miss Jon Amor's set, very nice solo looped acoustic guitar set and a good songwriter who loves to banter with the crowd.... Basically a total unknown to all but a select few (thanks again Pittsburgh Jeff for the Hoax stuff a while back) his CD was moving like hotcakes after his short intense set. Doesn't hurt that a name currently in the news, good ole "Percy" Robert Plant has guested on Jon's latest CD.......

Thanks for the heads up...I will be sure to get there in time to catch the opener.

Glad you enjoyed the show.  Did you get to chat with Joe at all?

Re: Oakville Show Wednesday Oct 29 2008

Excellent show...amazing in fact!

SO nice to have Joe playing some dates in Ontario and he seemed genuinely surprised to see full houses in Brampton, Oakville and St. Catherines.

Thankfully, Joe promised these wouldn't be the LAST dates in the area so we are looking forward to his next visit.

Joe was awesome in Oakville. Cant wait till the next time already. Was haunted by the Great Flood for a few days till i got better acquainted with it. Cool tune.

He was drinking down the bourbon like it was soda pop
Trying to quell a feeling he knows aint gonna stop
His heads held high but his heart is on its knees

I saw him in Brampton as well, and was surprised at how well Jon Amor did.
He had a good set and considering he was warming up the crowd for Joe, he did a great job.
It was the first time I'd seen Joe live and always wanted to see him do Woke Up Dreaming so that was a big plus.
I tried to get tickets for the next night in Oakville but they were sold out.
I hope it's not too long before he comes back to Ontario.

Hey!

Great to see all of the Ontario Bonamassa fans on here (or maybe you snuck across the border from New York to catch him here in our fair country...) - either way, I think we all agree that Joe has been sorely missed in this neck of the woods and we all hope he comes back some time REAL soon!
