Topic: Best of Joe B Tab Book

Hi All,
I just was cruising the Amazon.com jungles and happened upon an entry for the Best of Joe Bonamassa published by Cherry Lane Music. It is a tab book with an ISBN number of 1575608944. It is available from Amazon for a paltry $22.95 and includes Blues Deluxe, Miss You, Hate You, A New Day Yesterday, Pain and Sorrow, The River, So It's Like That, Woke Up Dreaming and more.

I am not sure what "more" means, but it has got be good. According to Amazon it was published on September 15, 2006.

I do remember reading an interview with Joe in which he talked about working on a book with Cherry Lane, but there was no other information. This does not come up on Cherry Lane's web site either.

Regardless, I am ordering the beastie as we speak. Just thought any other closet guitarists like myself might like the info.

If anyone else has more infomation about the entire song listing (Joe?) perhaps they can contribute. smile

I just ordered it, and sent Cherry Lane a letter asking what the "other" songs were...
can't wait....I'm hopin for a few favorites

I too have ordered the book from Amazon. I've always wanted to attempt Blues Deluxe. That song just drips with tone....anyway. Amazon is notorious for posting books before they are available, sometimes before the author even finishes them.

Please post if you get any updates from amazon. And thanks for lvbluesboy letting us know.

Hi All,

A little update on Joe's book. I spoke to Hal Leonard customer service today. They are the distributor for all of the Cherry Lane publications.

Interestingly the rep I spoke to was Joe (?). Coincidence? Maybe......... Anyway he told me that they had not received the book yet from Cherry Lane, but it is do any time. The ISBN number is valid and they have numerous orders for it already.

I guess we just have to be patient...........:(

I'm not sure if I dreamed this, but either on this forum or maybe in an interview somewhere, I seem to remember Joe talking about this book and asking (or saying he was thinking of asking) fans for suggestions on which songs should be used.
Is this ringing a bell with anyone else??

Yeah that was a long time ago- I think it might have even been on the old forum... but he definetly did.
