AC/DC 's 'Black Ice' Downloaded 400,000 Times Before Release Date

In a sign of the times, according to NME, AC/DC's forthcoming new album, 'Black Ice', leaked onto file sharing service BitTorrent on October 7 and has been downloaded over 400,000 times.

The album, set for official release on Monday (October 20), will not be available as a legal download.

According to Undercover the band's label, Sony, released fake AC/DC songs online to hamper users attempting to download the album.

However, Torrentfreak claimed that there was no evidence of the fake tracks online.

This is, of course, defeating the band's intent. Angus Young recently told the U.K.'s Telegraph, "We don't make singles, we make albums. We believe the songs on any of our albums belong together."
