Topic: Guitar Virtuoso Jimmy Herring's Debut Solo Record.

The long awatied solo release from blues/rock/jazz/country/fusion guitar virtuoso Jimmy Herring (The Allman Brothers, The Dead, Phil Lesh, Frogwings, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Widespread Panic, Jazz Is Dead) is out.  The album is a great mix of many styles with burnin giutar playing.  Jimmy is a master of string bending, amazing tone and great motivic developent.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jimmy play about 5 feet in front of me in a small club in Baltimore about 2 years ago....he is really really good.  I'm sure this "record" will be worth buying and listening to with Jimmy alone, not to mention Oteil, Derek, etc.....didn't even know about it, thanks Vette!
