Topic: Kelly Richey at Darwins last night

Caught Kellys act in Darwins last night in Marietta, GA.

She has done a change over in set list with half of new album and it was refreshing to hear.  And she of course was killer with slashing, comping, and shredding blues licks as she always does.

Darwins had a very and i mean very small crowd last night.  That was sad to see. Darwins no longer can pull the people it once did.  Not just with Kelly.  But this has been the case with many artists.

So support your favorite blues music.  Because if you dont, the places you love to go too will go under fast.

No joke.

Re: Kelly Richey at Darwins last night

Hey Gary,
Glad to hear she has mixed up her set list. For years now she started the shows with the same 3 songs, then Hey Joe, and so on.....  Dissapointed this year that she wasn't a part of our little local blues festival in Carnegie.  For the past 4 years she headlined the festival and closed it out in rockin style.  Missed her this year.   One of the hardest working chicks out there.  To steal Joe's  " Always on the road"  Thats Kelly.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

It's not just music venues, go see how easy it is to get into restaraunts that are usually backed up like we did in SF last Fri. night before catching BDS. All the restaraunts around the club near AT&T Park in SF were half empty when normally you wait a half hour or more just to get seated. It's the economy............so make damn sure you get out and vote................and vote for the right guy!!!!!
