The phrase "movie star" gets thrown around way too liberally these days, but certainly applies to Paul Newman!

Yea it's always kind of strange to feel sad for someone you never met. I got to see his last race here in CT. He wasn't an actor who had the money to race cars. He was a very good driver. It was cool seeing him go by in a Corvette and his # was his age! Got to see 79 and 80. He was so low-key and a humanitarian. If there is a heaven he's got a front row seat!!

We were on holiday on the Greek islands when this sad news came through. The sun went in and it started to rain shortly afterwards......seemed kind of right under the circumstances.
