I'm back, I need a TON of sleep.....and then I'm gonna make plans to move to Austin.....
I'll post more later (after another nap...), but as far as the "jam that never was...", it woulda been great.....but it was kinda hard to feel bad that it didn't happen.....THAT'S how great that show was.....from BOTH acts. I felt it was gonna be historic.....and as far as I'm concerned, I was right. This was a show that, 20 years from now, you could say "Yeah, I was there..."
From what I gathered later, BDS drove straight to Austin (3-4 hours...) right after their set because they were sceduled at the ACL at 2:50 the following afternoon, then had Antone's at 10:00 that night. Davy mentioned to me at Antone's how hectic everything had been. So it was more a matter of time constraints than anything else.....
