Topic: Hendrix Experience Tour!! Detroit October 25th

I just got my local Metro Times paper today in Detroit and there it was!! A Hendrix Tribute tour. For those of you not familiar with the line up like myself, check this out!!

Tickets on sale Friday for October 25th at the Fox Theater in Detroit.

Maybe they can work Mr. Bonamassa into this lineup??

Ill bet our local guitar hero Jimmy Mccarty will be there also being that he played with Hendrix.

Just kidding Rob. How the heck are you?  Did I ever tell you I was born in Mt Clemens? I think on an airforce base.   Yep I wouldn't miss the Hendrix tour if it comes to my area. Please report back to this thread with a detailed review.  Welcome back Rob. You've been missed.

I thought about going, but honestly the last time I saw KWS really makes me not want to see him again. And I've seen him like 10 times.
Would be cool to see EJ though...and the others. Buddy Guy is DEFINITELY worth seeing.

I heard that Robbie Kreiger of the Doors will join this tour occasionally. I just seen Riders on the Storm last night and it was a good show. Crowd got Kinda rowdy at times. The Doors music still attracts some pretty good sized crowds.

Hey Rob,

i got an advance notice from Olympia Entertainment on "pre-sale" tix

got 2 in the Orchestra Pit....3rd row center !!!

aside from Jimmy Mc.....Kenny Olson (former Kid Rock / Twisted Brown Trucker guitarist) is also rumored
to possibly show.....he played with quite a few members of this line-up a few years ago in a Hendrix Tribute.

I'll meet you in the lobby of the Fox.....1st beer is on me !

Hey Ron!! Sounds good! Ill see you there. Im in row F , Aisle F2. You lucky dawd you! I tried to get the pit but where not available. Ill settle for the seats I got though. There still pretty close. Ill look for you in the lobby.
