Jazz guitarists that "Rock" smile

I guess you could put Frank Zappa in this catagory too. Many of his compositions were clearly more jazz oriented than rock.

amen, Danny was a great jazz player.

Evidence found on the Blue Note records release "New York Stories", which also featured Bobby Watson, Roy Hargrove, Joshua Redman, Charles Fambrough, Youron Israel and Franc Amselam.

Good call on Charlie Hunter. I think Charlie Hunter is my favourite musician out of anyone.

I also like John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery, kenny Burrell, Grant Green just to name a few.
