I think the term "the U" is kind of stuck up.

I love the SEC, and I grew up in WI. I never liked the Badgers. I grew up watching Notre Dame. I can say it. And yes they did stink last year. I'll stick with em. But I love watching Georgia, Auburn, LSU, FL, and the other SEC teams - lots of action. I'm not a big fan of the Big 10...even while I'm currently living in Michigan.

Sports Illustrated came out today with their pre-season rankings....My fighting irish are not even listed in the top 20!!  sad  ...what the heck do they know..... I'd look for the link, but I'm very lazy when I get home from work roll

They got your boys ranked 4th!!...thats ahead of Oklahoma and Texas....lookout for Florida, they had the top recruiting class in the country and the reigning Heisman winner in Tebow...where's the BCS championship game at??

I shall say this...and maybe some of you might understand the depth of the Florida football thing.

Florida State will win the national title.

While they might not be the best team to the outside world, but while Scott Holt is a good friend...the sun rises and sets because Bobby Bowden says so.  The power of FSU football is all encompassing.

If I have to answer honestly, USC will win.  Team speed in college trumps all.

I have said all along, I would rather my child be a godless communist heathen witch, than be a Florida Gator.  If a child of mine ever considered enrolling at UF, they would stop being my kid.  I would never marry a Gator, date a Gator, be friends with a Gator, have a Gator in my home, let someone wear Gator gear near me and go unchallenged.

This is a Seminole world.  All praise due to Bobby Bowden and Mickey Andrews.

FSU family love to Tommy at Clemson, and Mark Richt at Georgia.

Boo to Auburn for how they handled Terry Bowden.

Boo to South Carolina for hiring Steve Spurrier.

Great opening weekend, big win for the Cal Bears over Mich. State. The Buckeyes handled Y-Town St., unfortunately Chris Wells sustained a minor foot injury. Michigan loses, always sweet!!! I was in Reno to see Joe so I dropped $10 on Tenn. and gave 7.5 points, I thought I'd heard somewhere these guys were supposed to be good. They can't beat Pac 10 teams unless they're at home, lotsa luck with Georgia and Florida.

Texas Tech at Oklahoma......this game will feature 2 of the best QBs in the country...

Graham Harrell (what an "O" line to play behind) throwing to the best receiver in college football Michael Crabtree (17 tds)....for the Red Raiders

Sam Bradford throwing to everyone today (4 different receivers for tds)...for the Sooners

This will be the highest scoring game of the season....I doubt that each others defense can stop each other

I never expected Oklahoma to beat the daylights out of Texas Tech....that was a good old a** whipin...we were (brother inlaws) going it last night arguing over who goes to the BCS title game...obvious if Bama wins Sat, there going to be in for sure....the Pac Ten doesnt have a conference championship game, but other conferences are an automatic guarantee BCS slot...right now, I'm going with Texas and Alabama...big weekend!!

I guess I missed this post originally. Those poor Red Raiders had a dose of reality. Welcome to the big time boys. 85,000 screaming for revenge. Now all we got to do is take care of the Pokes and its Big 12 Championship time with another chance at the whole enchilada. We play enough BCS games we are bound to get lucky and win one.
