Re: Indigenous REx Theatre Pittsburgh Friday August 29th

Hey Don,
Count me in Sunday at Hienz field for Kenny Wayne German Shepperd.  Carnegie Blues fest is this coming week. Sept 4th, 5th, and 6th.  Haven't seen the line up yet but I assume Miss Richey will be Saturday?   How bout some Cyclones?  Jakes Blues?  Let me put together the Carnegie fest.  See ya Sunday, I'll be the fat guy with BBQ sauce on my shirt.

Take care everyone. And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then ill, I'll meet you in the next one and don't be late, don't be late

Re: Indigenous REx Theatre Pittsburgh Friday August 29th

I'll see y'all at the KWS gig on Sunday, Don.  But it ain't free...

http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/16004 … orcatid=54

It's free to get into the rib fest, but KWS tix are $15.  Anyone more familiar than I with Heinz Field know where the South Plaza is?  Doesn't sound like he's playin' on the field.....

There've been other posters that have mentioned seeing KWS at other rib fests, and getting their tickets for the show, after they got to the rib fest, as part of a package when they bought a certain amount of food tickets.  And those tickets were in a reserved spot up front.  I think that's the way I'm gonna go.  If it don't work, it's all Donna's fault.....

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make the Indi show or not.....I'm driving to Wheeling Saturday morning.....

btw, Jeff.....you gonna have a booth?

Yes Don, Tom and I will definitely be going down to the Rib Fest on Sunday to see KWS.  Darrin said he is coming too.  Will we see you and Laura there?

Re: Indigenous REx Theatre Pittsburgh Friday August 29th

Hey Jim,
Nope, no booth for Big Bens BBQ. For one The Steelers won't allow yes near the stadium. You see they named the place Hienz field and I guess this Hienz company has their own line of BBQ. We tried 2 years ago, not to mention it's freakin expensive to get in for vendors. If memory serves me correct 1500 per day with a 3 day commitment.
Hey Don, Looks like no Kelly Richey this year at Carnegie, check out the lineup.

Re: Indigenous REx Theatre Pittsburgh Friday August 29th

Hey all,
Janet and I will be at both Indigenous and KWS. If you recognize us, please come say hi. I'll be the guy with the salt and pepper hair. (more salt than pepper). Before the Indigenous show we will probably be at Folinos. Not fancy, but good food, Amber Bock on tap, and they sometimes have a band. Its located going away from town, on the other side of the street than the Rex. We also have tickets to the Gov't Mule / BDS show in Nov. Hope to see you .

What you oughta do, Jeff.....is convince Heinz to BUY Big Ben's BBQ!

I never thought about that, but I'm sure the bean counters at Heinz are lookin' at every vendor in a paranoid sort of way.  But by the sounds of it, yer better off not gettin' a booth.  You'd have to pull down 5 grand to go home with 500???  I don't like them odds.....I suppose it would have some advertising value, but still.....

Anyway, I'll see you and the rest of our "family" there.....and I'm plannin' on the Carnegie thang, too.....

Well, Bill.....THAT certainly oughta narrow it down.  I'll just look for the guy that looks like me, and a couple thousand other guys at Heinz Field!!

Wear a JB t-shirt, if you have one.  I always make a point of sayin' "Nice shirt..." when I see one.....so if some guy with salt and pepper hair wearin' a JB cartoon t-shirt comes up to ya and sez "Nice shirt...", that would be me.....

Jim

btw, I'll see ya at the Gov't Mule/BDS gig, too.....

Yeah, that is funny. At least I know I'm not alone with the grey hair thing. Also, it looks like I'm wearing a dark blue Jimi shirt. I'll be looking for the cartoon JB shirt.
                                                            See ya there,

hey, you're on your own, Mister salt and pepper!  Anyone who's been living the Summer of Love should know better than to listen to a wannabe!  smile   I'll letcha know how it all pans out for me Saturday....when I again attempt to break Kenny's personal bubble....

Re: Indigenous REx Theatre Pittsburgh Friday August 29th

Well my excuse is that the South Side of Pittsburgh is a 45 minute drive and I had to get up at 3:30 to go to work this morning. But I will see all you guys on Sunday at Heinz field. Las time I saw KWSB was at the Pgh. rib fest two or so years ago but it was at Station Square. There it was free to stand behind the seating area (maybe 75 yards) but cost to get up front. I'm expecting the same type of deal tomorrow.

Tell me about the car i saw parked outside your door ? Tell me what you left me waiting two or three hours for ? Tell me why when the phone rings, baby, your up and across the floor ? Please dont keep me wondering no more.....

Yeah, I know.....I missed a great show, Don.  But, I did have certain priorities that needed to be paid attention to Saturday morning.  And according to Barbara and Tom, I have my priorities in order.....like I didn't already know that!!
