Seems like we´re all pretty busy right now, aren´t we?! I even spent three days WITHOUT reading the forum - didn´t know this was possible lol. But well, the term paper needs to be ready on Monday and there are still plenty of pages to write ... but THEN, we´ve got our little holiday-weekend!

When I talked to Geko on the phone we were wondering who´s already got his Walter Trout tickets? Geko picks one up for me, but do you already have tickets George and Cathy?! Please let Geko know if you don´t ...

Oh, I´m so excited - only one week and two days now ... smile

Lucky for YOU Big Brother, your little sister has been under the water's surface herself for a few days - doing her mermaid thing in Laguna....... BUT, I'm back, and I'm right on your heels and I'm waitin' to hear all about it!!!!  Are you soggy???




Oh....... back to the topic at hand.......... G and C........ just a matter of DAYS!!!!!  I told them today that I pushed my chair back and jumped up and down for them 10 times!!!!  I did!!  I did!!!!  They told me they're going to save that activity for their greeting at the airport.  LOL.

I am SO excited for ALL of you guys!!!!!  So excited for George and Cathy and their time together (QUITE the FULL itinerary, mind you) and ALSO, SO excited for all of the time with Andre, Eva and Geko......... it will just be incredible.

And, Geko dear......... I DO SO WISH that you WOULD post MORE often.  I LOVE reading your posts and the last one here, was one of my favorites.  We always understand what you are trying to say!!!!  You LOVE Joe Bonamassa and so do we!!!!  That message comes across loud and clear in ANY language  !!!!

Seeing Cathy will  be the most wonderful of all!! The rest I've seen before and that was wonderful too!

If she is as nice, beautiful, careful, musicminded etc. as George always says well my Corine must take care!!!

I think I can guarantee that Cathy will be having a "memorable" time. big_smile

I've actually spent the last two evenings doing lots of stuff that simply couldn't be put off any longer and I have to say that there is a certain satisfaction to be had from removing ancient layers of dust and grime. I also managed to remove the traces of all the mosquitoes I killed this summer from the bedroom walls and ceiling. Those damn little bloodsuckers will think twice about coming back.

Seven nights to go and still plenty more to do, but I'm gonna crack it. cool

Dont get to crazy cleaning George...the one quality I like about her is she doesnt get caught up in being all prissy...why cant more women be as cool...she's a bundle of fun to talk to for sure

It's kind of a running gag with us, Dave. I'm simply using Cathy's visit as an excuse to do stuff I should have done long ago - and I mean long ago! I ain't trying to her impress her with my housekeeping any more than she tried to impress me with hers! And I ain't prissy either. big_smile

I can hardly believe it's almost time!!  My 1st trip across the pond!! I hope to repeat it next year for JB at the RAH!!! This really is turning into the "mimi tour"...Holland, Germany and Belgium. And, it's easier for me..pack and go..(kinda..arrange care for mom and pets, etc,).
Andre..Please remember George is biased! If you take off your glasses and we meet in the dark, I MIGHT be able to pass for "all that"..but best to know in advance..I'm old and "give-out" as we say. But, we will have such a great time...that I KNOW!! Bonabuddys, music, no drama.....oh yeah!!! To all of you...can't wait to meet!!!            Cathy

This last Sunday has been quite a day...it's been the warmest day for many weeks, upper 70's for y'all cross the pond, around 27 for us...it will probably be the last 'summer' day we'll see. The long range forecast for the first week of Cathy's visit is much cooler with regular drizzle.

But today, in the sun, in the warmth, I went outside topless and washed the windows big_smile I also cleaned the balcony of last winter's dried leaves. I felt like I had fought and won a small battle!

Three nights to go, wow.........

George, my mum was on a congress in Amsterdam over the weekend (and brought back the wonderful Anthony Berg chocolate!) - and she nearly died sitting inside and working on Sunday when everyone was driving their little boats down the Prinsengracht .........
But well, she went shoe-shopping on Friday, so the trip wasn´t in vain lol ...

Well, it's getting real close to adventure time, two short nights before it starts. Cathy is sorting out the mountains of music she's bringing while Lil'bit has kept me company while I try to knock myself out..........just about made it now.
