Topic: Belfast Big River Blues & Jazz Festival

Belfast is hosting a Blues and Jazz festival in the next week or so at St Georges Market and various other venues around the city.   Simon McBride who supported Joe on his gigs in Dublin & Belfast is playing with Ten Years After which should be pretty good.

Tickets are reasonably priced as well.  St Georges would be perfect for the next Joe concert in Belfast if it ever happens as it is much bigger than the last venue.

I had a listen to the tunes on Simon's myspace yesterday. They sound pretty good.

Hopefully he can make it over the water sometime as I'd like to hear him live.
Simon is due to release an album in October. I notice that his managment is done by Nugene Records, so he's in good company with Ian Siegal and Matt Scofield who are two of Britain's best blues artists.
