Topic: Hi Joe, Hi all!

Relatively new Joe fan here...I was another Joe fan before I found out about this Joe....Joe Satriani.  When I heard Joe B play though, he was everything I ever wanted to hear in a guitarist. The complete package!!!  Best tones and range of tones I've heard, and the tastiest licks ever...along with a great, powerful, emotive voice. Seriously, Joe B, if you read this, you need to tell Satch to step aside because you're taking over as the main G of G3! smile  About me: From Canada, same age as Joe (31), have been playing for 16 years and I am passionate about playing and I also have serious disease. G.A.S.!!! I'm sure a lot of you can relate to this malady.  Hope to see Joe B in St Catharines not long after I see Joe S in Toronto.  Looking forward to interacting with all of you.  Joe B ROCKS!!! big_smile

Welcome Sharkface, like your playing. I too was introduced to Satriani, who wowed my interest in the guitar as an instrument. Then Vai and some of the G3 offerings. Then I heard Joe, by accident - what the f.... Now I'm hooked too. Wait until you see him live, pick your jaw off the floor and take a breath my friend, you are in for one hell of a ride. Fully expect to see your Joe licks on you tube. You'll find lots of advice on gear and techniques in Joes guitar section and he stops by from time to time to - he was here today in fact! Welcome to the board!

Welcome to the forum Sharkface. Yeah, I think we all agree, Joe is the real deal, complete package and a super nice guy too. You will find plenty of fellow noodlers here and gear nuts.
