Joe did it again.  A tremendous show.  That had to be the best rendition I've heard yet of "Blues Deluxe".  And that theramin thing on "Just Got Paid" - absolutely SICK!

Joe, if you're taking suggestions from the peanut gallery, you need to put that version of Blues Deluxe on your next Live CD. And dust off "Pain & Sorrow" too. (Hint, Hint).

All that and I got to listen to LFNIP on the ride home. Altogether it was like a 3 1/2 hour Joe show. Awesome! big_smile

This is DM from Beautiful Bones and what an opportunity it was for us to open for Joe last night in Lewiston.  He was the inspiration for drawing me deep into the blues, listening to all the cats that influenced him and ultimately why Beautiful Bones exists.  When we got the call to open for him I honestly shook.  So for us to open, meet Joe and the band and then get to hear him live again all in one night was crazy.  So, thanks Joe and Artpark and all the great people listening last night.  It was magic for us.

Yeah you guys were great!  The crowd had to be close to 5,000 by my estimate so you got some good exposure.  Joe had Crosby Loggins (Kenny's son) open for him last year at the Tralf and he went on to win some kind of "New Artist of the Year" award.  I hope the magic rubs off on you too! When you get your CD cut please put a link in the "Other Artists" section so we can listen to some tracks, and get some ordering info.  (If I'm reaching here Jim or Phil will let us know) I'm finding that Joe's fans have a very broad cross section of musical tastes running from Jazz to folk to prog rock and beyond.

Best wishes for success!

Hey Eva could you tell from that pic that I was half in the bag?  Only three kinds of people wear sunglasses 2 hours after the sun has set:
Rock stars
Blind people
Drunks that don't realize that they are still wearing them in the dark

Guess which catagory I fall into smile

Thanks for the link Tom. It made me smile. Nice to know people from Joe's neck of the woods "get it". This is turning into some wild and crazy ride isn't it! Such fun!!!   Cathy
