Just found out about this at www.Mule.net. Gov't Mule and Back Door Slam are touring together starting 10/30 and going until 11/22. Ticket Pre-Sale thru Mule Tickets starts 8/19 at Noon Eastern time.
Two nights at the Fillmore, San Francisco!

Hey Fred..Know you're new so I'll give you a tip..please check for a thread before making a new one by using the search option. If you look a bit further down this page you'll see one that covers this. I just don't want to dilute the original. I love BDS and can't wait for the Baltimore show!  Thanks, Cathy

Would anyone have any good starting points for getting into Gov't Mule? I'd like to get some of their recordings. I'd be looking to hear more songs of the style of Blind Man In the Dark.

Being more a fan of the 3pc Mule (I prefer the sound of a guitar) I would suggest either the 1st album (Gov't Mule) or Dose their second studio album (this is the one with Blind Man in the Dark). If you want a good later 4pc Mule album I would suggest Deja Voodoo.
