Topic: Help please

I have clips of the Winter Park show copied to a DVD and I've tried to get it on Youtube but I can't figure out how. Does anybody know????

Re: Help please

Hey,

I´m the official "youtube-lesson-provider" here big_smile

If you could write down more specifically what´s the problem, we´ll find a solution for sure. Have you already "downloaded" the files from the DVD to your computer? Or is it a problem with youtube?

Re: Help please

Also make sure the file is not too large, you can use something like moviemaker for this.

Re: Help please

You need to first rip the dvd files..... theres alot of ways to do this the easiest will prob be using quicktime pro (if you have it) or imtoo video decoder... Nero also has a decoder I'm sure Eva and others use something similar.

Basically you change the file format from .vob to a .mpeg, .avi, .mov I think it recommends 320x240 resolution..  then you use the youtube uploader smile

.mpegs are standard file formats these days they compress well and are small in size...

Re: Help please

Yes, I also use the quicktime thing - it´s not too difficult to handle for a computer-dummie like me wink.

I always use .mpgs for youtube, had some problems with .avi files lately - don´t know why, but youtube seems to like the mgps better ...

Hope it will work!

Re: Help please

I use Intertech Video Converter for almost everything nowadays.
