Topic: Ryan McGarvey To Appear at this year's Telluride Blues & Brews Fest

Thanks in part to those on this forum who took the time to register and post messages on their message board, the Telluride Blues & Brews Fest, the annual blowout in Telluride, Colorado, have booked the Ryan McGarvey Band to appear at this year's fest, September 12, 13, 14, 2008. He'll be joining an already illustrious lineup including Gov't Mule, Etta James, John Hiatt, The Derek Trucks Band, Susan Tedeschi, Chris Thomas King, Canned Heat, The Blind Boys From Alabama, Joan Osborne, Bryan Lee, and one of this forum's favorites, Back Door Slam!

Just read Ryan will be playing a 20min. acoustic set on the mainstage (in front of like 11,000+ people WoW)  on Sat. in addition to the electric performance later that night! I sure hope I can make this one!

Besides being thick with talent, this is one of the most BEAUTIFUL venues in the States. I'm jealous of anybody who gets to go. Bravo to Ryan. He is a REAL talent! Thanks for turning us on to him (and many others).     Cathy
