Encore:

Ball Peen Hammer...........instead of the originally planned One Of These Days & Asking Around For You. The acts kept running late on their start times all day long and as a result Joe got short changed due to a 10 PM noise curfew as the fairgrounds are surrounded by residential homes.

I was hopin' to snag an advance copy of From Somewhere...................but NO!!!!!!!!!! they all got snatched up by the SoCal fans. Well BFD, instead we got a well rested and happy to be in the mtns. band and crew as well as a sit down Q & A with Joe in which he spoke openly about what's on his mind about his music and about his new digs in Georgia. I was a little disappointed that so many people had packed up and left by the time Joe hit the stage, but most of the crowd had been there since 10 AM. Another factor may have been that between the end of Tommy Castro's set and Joe coming on it went from day to night. The few thousand that remained were more than enthusiastic.

Thanks Dawg. I'm sure it was a wonderful show. No CD's!! I hope they learn to increase the number they bring with them, because there are going to be monster sales. It was really nice of Tommy Castro to call Joe "The best guitarist in the world"..I'm going to give him a kiss for that on the cruise! Can you remember any details from the interview or do you have a link to it?   Thanks, Cathy

Shred got some of it on video till his battery died. I know the biotch that sat in front of me videoed the whole thing while blocking my view as if she was entitled or something. I don't need to live in the past, I prefer to look to the future. Sat. was a blast, but it's over. I'll e-mail you personally about the content of the Q & A, as I don't want to gossip, God knows there's been enough of that around here lately.

That little bit of video was very poorly done by yours truly, it didnt help having to sit next to 3 derelicts....when I get that all ready, I'll see if it will play on here...sorry Joe, I did you no justice with my primitive skillls...any how, I got a few pics, give me a couple of days...maybe
