I hope that "O" line can keep them blitzes back, they won 4 games last year, if Brett stays healthy who knows....I blame the Packers on this one, he wanted to play, so let him play!....I'm still sour though over what he did a few years ago, he held the team in limbo before the draft, just because he could...The toughest QB ever, but his star has diminished in my eyes, but I forgive pretty easy, and hope he brings a them to the superbowl...now that would be one heck of a fairytale...the new stadium opens in a couple of years I believe, any Jets fans around here?

The team was tired of waiting until late in the summer to find out what he was gonna do. They had a first round draft pick of a quarterback riding the pine for four years. They wanted to move on. I can see both sides. Favre really didn't make up his mind until late again, which is understandable. The Packers wanted to know one way or the other.
I never thought this day would come. I'm 28, and Favre's been a packer since I was 13. It's like one constant in your life that goes away. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? I've been on the A-Rodgers train since day 1 of Brett's retirement. That guy is emotionally TOUGH as nails. I can't wait to see him play. He's waited long enough. On draft day, he waited, on the Packers - he waited. Now is his time. As a matter of fact, A-Rod is was the only one being a true adult about the whole situation since it started!
They basically made a bunch of personal accommodations for him, like getting to hunt on a 1000 acre plot of land just north of NY and a bunch of other personal benefits. I think it was a better choice than Tampa Bay. I hope they know how to block in NY. Ol' #4 might get hurt this season... you can play russian roulette only so many times before inevitably getting shot.
Now let's see if we can get a NYJ vs. GBP SuperBowl!!!

We have a few guys on defense in Buffalo who are licking their chops right now. Favre pancakes! Pancaked Favre? Something like that. Too bad he didn't go to the Vikings then all you NFC north folks could have seen him at least twice a year.
I was hopeing he would go out like a real pro. Maybe arrested for killing his pregnant girlfriend at a stop sign or under rumours of being lude with a minor in a hot tub. We can always go to a Jets game and throw Vicoden at the field.

I've pulled my previous comments on this topic and apologize if it offend anyone. I just feel that Mr. Favre has been trying to spell T-E-A-M with an I of late.
Yeah it was rude but I laughed! It seems like everyone is forgetting,this is the 3rd year in a row that Favre has made it "all about me!" Wait, is he going in to the HALL with a JETS jersey on? That would really piss off a bunch of packer backers!!
I do admit he can still play though, and he's gotta be scratching his head as to why GB just didn't take him back with open arms. It'll be an interesting season!
The coaches made Brett and the center run laps for some bad snaps yesterday....PLEEEZE!!...come on Mangini, what did you say to Brett after practice?...."hey Brett, ya know I was jus kiddin, dont be pissed at me"....lol
