Re: I got my JB Goldtop

I have a green-eyed monster wrestling me to the floor. Dang it, that's a great looking guitar.

Oh well, congrats, and happy birthday. At least play something on video and post it on YouTube so we can hear what one sounds like with a mere mortal playing it. Oh...no offense! I'm sure your a great player,  but I'm assuming you're a mere mortal like everyone else in the world who isn't Joe Bonamassa.

Blessings,
Larry

Wow! Happy birthday!
And thank you for sharing the great pictures of your gem.
I envy you and my son is going to die when he see´s it.
To expensive for us worth every penny I guess but all we have to do is dream.

I hope there´s gonna be a budget version of this dream...

Re: I got my JB Goldtop

The photos don’t do it justice, this thing looks old. People can’t believe it’s a brand new guitar or how much I paid for a guitar in this condition. What do they know, I’M happy… I hope everyone gets an opportunity to see one up close. When I get time I will post some better images and enjoy my new guitar.

Take care.

Now that I have the guitar, I will be ordering the JB Category 5 soon. I have not decided on the JB-50, JB-100 or both.  They are 4 months out on production right now so i have time to think about it and save some money.

Mine just arrived. Great amp! And.. really... really.. REALLY loud! Buy one!

And 'grats on the new guitar! Not my style, but I bet its playing all by itself!

What did you expect to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wild beasts sweeping majestically over the fields?

I quess you must have the JB-100 then... Sound nice, I can't wait.

Re: I got my JB Goldtop

Hmm a little more aged than I would like. Maybe I'll be going for the 2008 standard(new) instead. Neck tenon looks interesting on that.

I just played a brand new 08 Standard fresh from the box and it was the best playing guitar I've ever played straight from the factory.  Gibson really did a great job updating the Standard this time.
